Welcome to Prko. By using this app you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. What Prko Does

Prko provides street sweeping schedules and parking rule information for the City of Los Angeles based on publicly available City data. The app is intended to help drivers make informed parking decisions.

2. No Warranty of Accuracy

Always check posted signs on your block before parking. Signs on the street are the legal authority — not this app.

Parking rules, street sweeping schedules, and meter data change frequently. Prko makes no representations or warranties — express or implied — that any information is complete, current, accurate, or applicable to your specific location. Data sourced from the City of Los Angeles may be stale, incomplete, or contain errors. Prko is not responsible for any discrepancy between information shown in the app and posted street signs.

You are solely responsible for verifying parking rules at your location and for any parking citations, towing fees, impound charges, or other consequences.

3. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PRKO AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PARKING CITATIONS, TOWING OR IMPOUND FEES, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF PROFITS — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT WILL PRKO'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

4. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

ANY DISPUTE, CLAIM, OR CONTROVERSY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL BE RESOLVED BY BINDING ARBITRATION ADMINISTERED BY JAMS UNDER ITS STREAMLINED ARBITRATION RULES AND PROCEDURES, RATHER THAN IN COURT, EXCEPT THAT EITHER PARTY MAY BRING AN INDIVIDUAL CLAIM IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT.

YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION. Arbitration shall take place in Los Angeles County, California. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this clause.

5. Use at Your Own Risk

Prko is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer the app or its data
Send automated or bot traffic to our servers
Interfere with the security or performance of the service

7. Your Account

You may sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings tab in the app.

8. Data Attribution

Street sweeping and meter data is sourced from the City of Los Angeles via the LA Open Data Portal and the StreetsLA GeoHub under the City's open data license, which permits free use including commercial applications. Sign and meter data may be supplemented with manually verified field observations.

9. Intellectual Property

The Prko app, design, and code are the property of Prko. Street sweeping and meter data is sourced from the City of Los Angeles open data portal and remains the property of the City.

10. Changes to the Service

We may update, modify, or discontinue the app at any time without notice. We are not liable for any interruption to the service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any claims not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
